I’m thinking of self studying for some APs this year (sophomore year.) Can anyone recommend some of the easier APs? I will also be taking ap bio, ap stat and ap world. Is it a good idea to add maybe 1/2 more aps to self study for or will it be too much? How was your self studying experience? Thank you all !!

I don’t think self-studying is worth it unless you 1) can only spend a few weeks at most at it. If you need to spend more than that, you probably should just take the class. 2) have a very good idea what university you plan to attend and know that they accept the AP credits. Very few top schools give subject credit, most give graduation credit though.
Keep in mind that most admission committee members know the easy APs and aren’t impressed with self study scores on them.
The easy subjects also tend to get generic credits and credit for classes you don’t really need for your major.
If you’re truly interested in a subject, or know that you can get credit towards your degree at the school you will attend, then It may be worth the effort. Otherwise there may be better ways to invest your time.
