I'm sort of considering self-studying environmental science for next year, and I was wondering if anyone has a) self-studied in general b) taken the test or c) both, and could tell me about the experience and difficulty level. Thanks!

I’m self studying right now (Im a freshman.) I find it pretty easy- most of it is just general science knowledge or could be figured out with a little guessing. I’m using Barrons for studying and a text book that I got from my school

I’m taking AP Environmental Science right now. I have no idea what the exam is like, but we’ve done a pretty thorough study. The only thing I learned, essentially, was that “pollution is bad”. If you have a decent background in science and a lot of common sense, I imagine you could definitely self-study this exam. Heck, it’s only a half credit course at my school (most APs are two credits).

I’m self-studying too, Good luck ;)
