- Sparknotes Review Book
- Princeton Review
- Kaplan
- AMSCO Textbook
- Barron's
These are some of the options I am looking at to self study US History over the summer. I am looking to take the test in the Fall. Keep in mind I have not yet taken a US History class so I don’t really have any prior knowledge. Which books would you recommend I get to self study for the US History SAT II exam? Thanks
Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated
This is not a book, but another great resource in case there are certain events that you do not understand, are the videos from Adam Norris. They are very helpful, as I am studying for the APUSH exam rn.
The Kaplan Review book for either AP or the USH SAT II are great. I’m currently in Honors US and studying for the test in June and I’m using the latter.
In my opinion, I wouldn’t recommend the Princeton book; it just didn’t go into great detail (especially if you haven’t taken a US history course yet).
I have seen many recommendations for the AMSCO even for people who didnt know anything before so definitely try that
