Self Studying Help!!!!

I just finished taking an Ivy Insiders SAT class, and ended with a best score of 2160 with a 700 in math, 720 in writing, 740 in CR, and 12 on my essay.
Firstly just a few general questions:
Should I get a private tutor, or self study during the regular school year?
Is the January SAT really the easiest one?
How do you increase your speed/stamina during that one 35 question writing section?

For all you self study-ers:
How many hours a day/tests per week did you do?
What is the most important thing to focus on: Taking tests, or learning vocab, or just doing exercises?
What test book did you use? I have 11 princeton review tests, 3 ivy insiders tests, and 10 college board tests. Is barrons a good option for reviewing?

My goal is to get a 2300, or at least a 2250.
I want to go to duke, georgetown, or northwestern. Is my sat goal too low?

Thanks for all the help!

1) Self study. Only you know yourself the best.
2) Not sure about that-I have never taken a real SAT before
3) Not sure about that either (the writing speed and stamina thing)
4) I just study whenever I find myself ‘‘not doing anything’’. I do practice tests periodically, but I am now being told to do them more frequently (every 2 weeks)
5) For me=exercises
6) Those are pretty good books, but where did you get the Ivy Insiders? How did you find out about the course?
7) That’s a fine SAT goal.

Hey, I got the ivy insiders book/practice tests from the course I took over the summer. I found out about it from a friend, but honestly other than the grammar and essay help the class is pretty useless. They barely cover most logic math questions, and for reading they basically just tell you to “pay attention”.
