Self Studying Help

The following questions are about AP Calculus AB, AP Computer Science A, and AP Chemistry.

AP Chemistry - What else do I need besides using the Zumdahl 6th edition along with a prep book (have not decided which one yet) for me to receive a 5 on the AP Chemistry Exam? I am self-studying this course. Are there other things I need to memorize beside the following items: Polyatomic Ions (including name, symbol and charge), Variable Valences for Transition Metals, Rules for Naming Acids, Rules for Naming Ionic Compounds, Solubility Rules, and Determining Oxidation Numbers?

By the way, AP Chemistry is offer at my high school. However, the teacher is new and my guidance councilors refused to let me take 7 AP courses thinking it's an overload for me as I am a senior. Therefore I decided to self study. Will colleges frown upon my decision? I currently have 6 classes instead of 7 at the high school. My 7th class is at a nearby community college.

AP Calculus and AP Computer Science A - Is there a guide out that teaches beginners how to read Java? Is there also a prep book that teaches calculus? I am currently using Calculus Graphical, Numerical, and Algebraic by Finney Demana Waits Kennedy 3rd Edition. I am terribly confused in these classes.

Thank you in advance.

Just at a glance, you’ll need to know how to name covalently bonded molecules and compounds with transition metals as well. I think there’s more, but I can’t remember any at the moment.
