So my teacher for AP World doesn’t really teach, makes us color maps of various cultural regions, and gives us open note tests that a 3-year old could ace.

Even though I’m going to get a perfect 100 in class, I’m going to fail the AP Exam if I don’t start self-studying it now… We don’t even have a textbook…

So, what can I do to prepare for the AP Exam? What textbook is the best for AP World History?/What are the best AP Exam Prep Books?

Thanks!

We use Stearns World Civilizations. For WHAP, I think unless your a world history geek, you need a textbook to get a 5. There is a lot of info that a normal review book doesn’t cover. For example, the African chapters in the barrons book a really short, when in the textbook, they are a good 15 pages.

barrons…

also. this is a very easy test…i got a 5… i am 99% sure i got a 100% on the multiple choice and aced all the essays (last year) and i self-studied…

i read the barrons book the weekend before the test and went through some self-made flashcard… thats about it
