Self Studying Physics B?

Hello everyone, this is my first post here!

I'm going to be a junior next year, and I've decided to take APush, AP Chem, and AP Calc BC (Currently taking AB!). I'm also considering to self-study AP Computer Science (I'm probably going to end up in the "Let's study for AP Computer Science 2012-2013" thread whenever that comes up), since I took a Java class last summer and my school doesn't offer AP CS.

However, something just came up on my mind. Being genuinely interested in Physics, I was wondering how going about self-studying AP Physics B would be. The thing is, our school offers it, but not enough people ever sign up for it. I'm planning to take Physics C in senior year. Physics is by far my most favorite science.

How hard would self-studying this subject be? How much/when would I need to make the effort for this? What are the best books to use for self-studying this (e.g. Baron's?) Is there any advantage for getting the credit for Physics B?

Use Barron’s + MIT OCW/Khan Academy to supplement it.
I personally don’t think it’s worth it and you should go straight to Physics C.
