Is it hard to self study for the physics C: Mechanics exam if your already taking physics B and Calc bc??? How much time would you give to self study it?

not at all. A month is enough provided you work an hour on the weekdays and a bit more on the weekends. You will find that there is plenty of overlap between C: Mechanics and B Mechanics and the extra stuff requires a only a decent knowledge of vectors and calculus.

even for a kid that’s “average?”

easy. i started in march and finished both mech and E&M by april. of course, i had a solid physics B background and calc BC the year before.
i would say half an hour per day can get you finish mechanics in 3 weeks max.

^ yea but the application of those concepts is where it gets hard.

Don’t worry, if you get Barrons for physics C you will get plenty of opportunities to apply the concepts. Most of your conceptual knowledge will come from physics B anyways but C: Mechanics allows you to see why the equations make sense (the derivations are of course done in calculus).
