Self-studying physics

Hi everyone! I'm a senior this year, and due to scheduling conflicts, I'm in a regular physics class attempting to self-study Physics B. The teacher and I have sort of worked out an agreement where I'm at the back of the classroom doing my own work, and I'll be taking the same quizzes and tests as the AP class. My dad is a math professor and my mom studied engineering, so I'm thinking there'll probably be enough help for me if and when I need it.

I've just ordered the PR Physics B book. I'll probably use online resources as well (I've heard of the MIT lecture videos, and there's always Khan Academy)... Anyone have any suggestions or plan to do the same thing? I could use a little moral support, haha. I've never self-studied any AP before, so this'll be an adventure.

And a final question, something I just thought of - I got a 5 on Calc AB last year, so I'm considering doing Physics C Mech. Would it be realistic to do B and C at the same time, or should I focus on one or the other?

Moral support! I also was put in a regular physics class due to scheduling issues. Apparently taking two sciences and two maths is not something they expect. Anywho, I seriously considered self-studying for and taking the AP exam. I think I have decided not to, but more power to ya! Yeah, I have been using MIT and Khan as well, they’re great. Also, I have no idea about your last question. If I pretend to know what I’m talking about, I would say do one at a time? But that’s just me. Good luck though!
