Self-studying? Smart or not?

I'm junior, and I'm only taking two AP's currently (AP Physics C and AP Calc BC).
I want to take more AP tests, so would it be smart to self study AP Computer Science A or AP Psychology (or both)?
I'm pretty strong in math, and both my parents are software engineers, so if I just study from the Barron's book for APCS, will I be able to get a 4 or a 5?
I have no experience in AP Psychology but I'm really interested in learning the material, so is that possible too? My first choice would be APCS.
Oh, and I only have 3 months to study. Is this sufficient? (I want to start after SATs this month).
Thanks!

yea its sufficient, go for it. Also make sure you can actually register for the exam in time. The school needs to order the exam and usually the deadline is around feb or so.
