Self-studying Statistics!!

Ok, so i'm self-studying statistics next year, does anyone have any info. on what resources i should use, such as websites, texts, prep, etc.

thanx :)

You could probably walk into the AP statistics exam with a calculator and no statistics experience whatsoever (MAYBE no math experience in general, but that might be a stretch) and at least pass.

barrons ap stat book, a textbook for references, ti-83 plus; start in march, finish in may; 5 on exam.

i self-studied ap stat last year, it wasnt too bad
i agree with tongchen1226. i used the princeton review book instead tho, and bought the 2002 released exam from the collegeboard website

This is completely irrelevent, but when I read the title of this thread, I thought you meant that you were giving us statistics about self-studying, rather then asking about self-studying AP statistics. I'm disappointed... Good luck!!!

thanx everyone.....and sorry for the dissapointment rockermcr.lol:)

it really isn't that easy but it is doable if you have the correct resources. If in doubt about problems or topics, ask your high school stats teacher

thanx everyone....anymore suggestions?

help me out here, plzzzzzzzz

get the amsco ap statistics prep book. the best available. must be ordered. there are plenty of textbooks to choose from. it would be best if you get one that has the ti83 guide. that's also in the princeton review. ummmmm....... what else, oh.... my book had 14 chapters that would prepare you for the AP exam. it was really packed with info. i really glided through the year not doing the hw or the classwork til the last day....yeah, i'm suicidal....i did the same for calc too. lol. ...so, it took me a day to review the whole chapter and then another 2 to do a whole quarter's homework. it was farely easy, indeed. that's if you have a love for the class. so, if you want to go at the text first and then do the homework, it would take you about 3 days at a nice pace. if you do that you'll be set for a pass. try a little harder and you'll get a good score.

anything else???
