Self-studying!

I've tried asking this in the AP Test Prep section, and nobody replied. So here's what I asked...

First of all, I'm a senior.

I'm in an AP Physics B course, one of my 4 AP classes this year. I took AP Calculus AB and am taking AP Calculus BC. I'm wondering if I should self-study for the AP Physics C exams (yes, both). I'm interested in the natural sciences (in terms of what I'm thinking of studying at college), but I would possibly like the challenge of the physics you're tested on in the C exams. Also, it's not a joke how most who take AP Physics B don't even need to take General Physics at our school. Indeed, it kind of feels a bit simple, at least, now... Also, more universities seem to accept C credit than B credit (especially MIT)...

And I did take a general Physics course last year... which pretty much covered what I'm going to learn this year at a slower pace, maybe with some details cut out... some things simplified... Sure, I may have struggled in grasping the concepts of the electricity/magnetism parts, but I believe that I lacked the motivation to, considering the nature of the class (and classmates).

I also asked about the idea of self-studying for the AP Stat exam. It'd be more for a personal reason, but I can't really see practical reasons, seeing that not a lot of colleges accept AP Stat credit (I think half of the colleges I plan on applying to don't accept).

Hm, that depends if you think you have time to self study after school, and if you'll be able to fight off seniorites.

If you do plan to go on with it, make sure you have a teacher who you could talk to to help clarify things you don't understand.
