I taught myself italian, mainly by reading a lot of books and practicing with my brother (who is fluent). How do I play this up to colleges on my apps?

<p>Not really significant though. Lot of people teach themselves another language, broken, but still works. And you did this "just to put it on your app?"</p>
<p>I did it during the summer of 8th grade; I didn't even know what an app was then lol. My skills in this language, however, are pretty good, so I want to emphasize it as more than just a hobby.</p>
<p>take the SAT2:Italian. If you get a good score on it, then colleges will see.</p>
<p>Good point ... I don't know why that didn't occur to me. I can't believe Italian is given an SAT II, but I'm not complaining now.</p>
