Should I self teach myself AP classes, and then take the exams? My school only offers two AP classes, AP Calculus, and AP world history ( I think). I really want to take more, but I am not sure if it is possible to learn everything by myself. Any advice?

Try it! I’m self teaching myself AP Physics, AP Chem, AP European, AP World, and APUSH. Try getting your school to have more aps.

I would recommend looking into it for any subjects you’re naturally strong in. I like politics so I took the AP US Gov and got a 5 with little prep work, though that’s one of the easier APs. I would suggest looking into what APs are considered fairly easy to self-study and if there are any that are interesting to you try them out; you’ve got nothing to lose.

You have to be really dedicated to it. I could never do it.

I think it gets more easier to me depending on how dedicated you are (studying AP human geography, American history, and Government and Politics.)

You have 8 months to study for the exams, so I suggest you get a Princeton review books.

I reccomend barrons review books, apparently they are number 1. But I did use princeton, and that got me into several competitive high schools. Get both! :D

Princeton is WAY too informational on American Politics, oh well, looks like I have to read 1200 pages…
