Sell back to bookstore?

Hey everyone! I saw "sell back" in Ucla bookstore. What does it mean? Return the new book when the quarter has just started or sell the used book back when one has gone through the quarter?

Thanks in advance!

Returning the book at the start of the quarter is not the same thing as buyback.

Some books in the bookstore are marked with the “Buy-back sticker”. After the quarter, the store will buy back these books for some discounted price.

Thank you azngamer54! So you meant that books without that sticker could not be sold back, and books bought from the Internet (not Ucla store) could be not sold back either?

I bought some books from amazon last quarter. Can I sell the used books to UCLA store?

You might be able to get store credit for them, but I doubt you will get cash. When you buy your books, they scan your Bruincard, and so record what books you purchased so they can check if you actually bought the book there.
