Hi, my friends and I are looking for apartments and we found one that has two parking spaces. None of us will be bringing our cars down next year, so we were wondering how much people normally sell their spaces for. We're hoping that it can bring down the cost of the rent... Also, are they relatively easy to sell? Thanks!

where are you guys living? i might be interested in getting a parking spot, stupid university apartments didn’t give me parking :(

some apartments charge their own residents $100/month for each spot. try craigslist to see what current people are charging. i’ve seen anything from $50 to $150/month. if it were me, i’d probably charge $50 to $60 max, since i don’t want to price-gouge fellow students, and you do have two spots to rent out.

i think post #2 attests to how easy they will be to sell ;)

My daughter is getting an apt. and each space is $60 a month.

thanks for the help! and we’re thinking about living at midvale plaza, but its not 100% sure yet.

depends on proximity to campus/dorms, ease of access (stacked or standalone spots), etc.

some apt managers are mean and dont let you rent out the space.

i am a incoming freshmen fall 2009
i really need to bring a car with me because i will be going home on the weekends
i am willing to pay for your parking spot … since ucla does not give freshmen parking.
pm me if this is possible!

I’d definitely be interested in a spot depending on the price.

I’m a very serious buyer and will be willing to pay you monthly if we can work out a deal for Fall/Winter of 2009. I am in dire need of parking.

Thank you.

there is competition for everything at ucla

Sorry guys… we ended up going for an apt. which doesn’t include a space. Good luck in your search, though!

edit: nvm, read last post =(
