“BTTB” (Better than the bookstore) is a Penn student-run company that seems pretty popular. [Better Than The Bookstore: Buy and Sell Used Textbooks](http://www.betterthanthebookstore.com/choose_university.php)

Half.com/ebay/Amazon are decent if you sell a lot of books, and have some time on your hands.

Friends / facebook/ a few bulletin boards around campus are probably the best if you have a specific book that can be hard to find but is used every year for the same class and you know there’s a target market that will pass by that bulletin board. You’ll definitely make the most money this way. (eg. There’s a class that all M&T’s take and most people buy the book via the m&t posting board)

The bookstore - they may not give you the most money, but it’s cash in hand, and they’ll take almost any book. My personal favorite, as I’d rather not worry about it that much.

Thanks! I just ended up using Amazon, but this looks good too.
