Hi guys,
I'm trying to sell my bass - not because I'm stopping playing, but because I'm ready for a new one. Any tips on how to sell it?

Can you describe it? Depending on the quality of the instrument and the type of person most likely to buy it (high school student, another college student looking to trade up, professional bassist looking for a backup instrument) you might approach advertising it in different ways.

The International Society of Bassists has a classifieds section on their website that lists a wide range of instruments for sale.

Talk to your teacher, too. He/she knows your instrument well, and might know a person looking for one like it.

Cosmos, the link I sent you when you were trying to sell your bow is another option.

Thanks,
I've listed it in a few places so hopefully someone will want it...
I'm very interested in getting a new Kai Arvi bass, but I'd also like to keep my options open to see what else is available. I figure I'll check out David Gage's and Kolstein's when I get back to NY -- If anyone knows anybody who's selling a nice bass in NY or Chicago, let me know.
