Does anyone have any idea how much semester grades are factored into the admissions decison?

My mid-term grades are what I submitted when I applied RD, but we get semester grades at the end of the month and they are sending them to Georgetown then. If my semester grades are lower am I going to...like die?

Greeat, okay thanks.

i dont think u'll die, so long its not a dramatic drop from ur 1st semester grades i think u'll be okay.

I may have gone from an A- to a B (or a B+) in Math now, but my college counselor did mention in her letter that I am weak in math because a few years ago I did extra work to jump ahead (long story).

I hope you don't mind if I ask a similar question on your thread... but I applied early to a different school and was deferred. Do I have a really low chance of being accepted regular if 2 of my As from first quarter drop to A-s? I know it's slight, but does that automatically turn them off? What if one of my As goes to a B+? thanks :)

grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr A- is NOT BAD grrrrrrrr

pshh i know but my SATs are a LOT worse than all of you guys so my GPA and extracurriculars are the only things going for me... also, this is regular calc and not AP so that could be bad.... im gonna go study, midterm is tomorrow!

i'm a little confused- i thought that they only see your semester grade, not trimester.. etc. grades
midterm grades- those dont show up on the seconday/ midyear report do they?
i thought the secondary report by your counselor was only an evaluation, and midyear for semester grades
can someone clear this up for me?

id like to know that too, collegeohmy. For some reason i thought guidance would send in my actual report card along with midyear school report. If that is the case, then they will see my 2nd quarter grades, my midterm grades, and my final grade for 1st semester.
