I think that's a very good reason. You should probably write a letter or have one attached with your midyear report explaining the extinuating circumstances. If you do write a letter, make it factual and honest, but don't be melodramatic.

hmmmm This semester seems to be really tough on many people.

but seriously folks, if you get into princeton, thats great. if not, there are other great colleges.

ur senior grades are done. nothing you can change now. just relax and enjoy your last semester of high school.

Very good reason, did you talk about it on the "What else would you like us to know" form?

MzLover3 is right. Did you? If not, u should ask your GC to send the note to the college adcom.

Dominus...that's a pretty strong reason, and tell princeton about that. They wont be heartless. I hope your mom gets better.

Thanks. My guidance counselor is giving me back my midyear reports to send out myself, so should I just attach my only little letter to it?

I did mention it (as well as some other problems, lets just say high school years haven't been nice to our family collectively) in one of my essays.

sigh... I wish! I still have to hand in a 1600word essay that was due last friday (last day of the marking period). Teachers have until friday after next to submit grades, so I better write it this weekend!

Im gonna get a 5.0 (crossing fingers and hoping) from my high school grades and a 4.5 in 4 college I took this semester

the thing is, most of my grades are borderline so I'm pacing the floor pondering whether I got one question right on the final

haha join the club
