<p>I was reading an article in the News Record about the search for a new DAAP dean. It stated that UC would be switching to the semester system in 2010. Has anyone heard how this will affect the curriculum or co-op program?</p>

<p>AdvMom, Yes, I have heard that. I think that all Ohio schools will be switching to a semester system because they want to be "in line" with the majority of other schools in the country. Translation: It will be much easier for sporting events and for practicing.</p>
<p>Each college at UC had to come up with different proposed curriculum should they switch to semesters.</p>
<p>I should note that I would doubt that they will be able to accomplish the switch over by 2010. It was suggested to UC alumni that the switch over will probably occur in 2013.</p>
