[Semi Urgent Question] Payment?

<p>Hello! I have recently visited the E-bills page after logging on the Bearfacts and it said that I had to pay the full 19,000 for fall semester (I'm an out of state student). All the while my quick statement reads as: </p>

<p>Minimum Amount Due Now: $5,782.35
Minimum Due + Full Reg Fee: $5,782.35
Account Balance: $10,724.75</p>

<p>What do I have to do right now? I'm completely lost and I've called the Office of registrar and was unable to get any information from them as they were always busy. I read somewhere that you get refunded your money after you pay but I can't come up with that kind of money all of a sudden. Please help! (I shouldn't have ignored something so important for so long but I was working and then I got caught up in some Family vacation at some huge christian event x.x)</p>

<p>UCB billing service phone is always busy. You have to call right at 9:00 am PT and then wait for 15-20 mins to have someone on the line.</p>

<p>Bearfacts is not very updated. You should check the quick statement. </p>

<p>Your $5,782.35 amount due is the money you need to pay for Fall. You have 30 days (from 8/15) to pay that amount. The $19K is the total you need to pay for Fall, does not include any grant, loan or scholarship money. I believe you have some of these and has already applied to your fall payment, that why you just own $5782.35. One thing to note, grant / loan /scholarship money only apply to registration/tuition, not housing.</p>

<p>UCB has deferred payment plan (for registration fee, not housing), which you can pay Fall payment in 5 installments (check bearfacts, click on pay now to see more info ** but don’t click submit, if you are not intend to).</p>

<p>If you have money left after paying the Fall bill, you will then be refund. </p>
