Who's joining up for the summer session? I am applying for the summer after my sophomore year. I am going with feinstein, baucus and sherrod brown. Though I'm having problems with the application not going up to my school year or birth year. Is anyone else having issues?

I want to do it after my sophomore year too, except that I the summer of 2015. Does anyone know what kind of things will look good on an application? I am currently in Mock Trial, French Scrabble, Math Team, Science Olympiad, Golf, and I am in my school band. Next year I am planning on doing National Honors Society as well. I have a 4.125 GPA (UW) and 4 (W). What else can I do to show that I have interest in government and politics. Do I still have a chance even though I have no connections and my parents are registered democrats?
Also would it help if I emailed my senator? Should I email him and send the applications as well or send the email before or after?
If someone could get back to me with answers and advice I will be eternally grateful.

Hey everyone! noticed there wasn’t much on this thread and wanted to keep it going, IvyLeageIsMine just keep in mind Baucus was just nominated as Ambassador to China and will be stepping down soon, he is also extremely partial to kids from Montana. I will be applying for Spring semester of my junior year and I’m having trouble because it doesn’t have my birth year or graduation year either. I’m applying through Baucus because of close family connections, but what other senators usually appoint pages?

Leadership Senators always get at least one page. During the semester I was a page, Sen. Reid sponsored 6 pages and McConnell sponsored 2. They don’t generally accept applications directly unless you live in their state. However, sometimes other senators will give your name to leadership senators if they didn’t receive a slot themselves.
