I’ve been looking into the summer session for the senator page program.
I was wondering what extracurriculars those who got in, had? What type of recommendations are preferred? Can you apply for more than one senator?
I’m from New York, by the way. So I would be applying under Senator Schumer. I heard he hasn’t selected a page for the past few years. What should I do then?

Extracurriculars varied so much in my class that it’s not a reliable thing to go off of. Particularly for the summer, it’s usually fairly essential that you have connections at some level that can help you get a sponsorship. Senator Gillibrand had a page my semester. Does anyone know when the senators find out if they will receive a page for the summer? How about the exact dates for the two summer sessions?
For those who are interested, found out there is only one session this summer because of the revised calendar.
