I am going in for an interview this week for an internship at my senator's office, and I was wondering if anybody has any experience with these types of interviews.
This will be my first, and I am a bit scared :p.

I offered to bring some writing samples along with me to the interview.
Does anyone have any idea as to the questions they might ask me or just how
I should act in general? haha
I make myself out to be pretty poised but I just want an idea as to what they might ask.

Any feedback would be fantastic and thanks in advance!
Have a great school year everyone! :)

Try to sound formal but not “meeting the queen formal.” Use some of those SAT vocab words. Don’t be stiff. Be comfortable with the senator. Don’t act like a clown, but slight humor goes a long way. Act enthusiastic. The goal of an interview isnt really about credentials. Credentials do make an importance, but your goal of the interview is to make the senator love you. I by that, I DONT mean kiss up (although a little comment about how much you like one of his policies is great.) Just be friendly while showing your abilities and credentials.
