I might be retaking both(most likely ACT) but they're pretty much the same on a conversion scale but for scholarships, not really.

29 ACT(32M, 31E, 31R, 23 Science) and a 12 Essay Writing section

2040 SAT(680M, 640 CR, 720 W)

My parents are scared that if I submit both, scholarships might reject me even if my ACT score(which is the minimum for many scholarships) is enough because those same scholarships want a 1350 SAT score and I mean it's not like a computer glitch is going to prevent me from getting it, and I want colleges to see that I'm good(not great) in SAT Math. Would it be safe to send both?

I just sent a similar question to someone via PM and was told to submit only the ACT.

A 29 is good, but not great, and I think the college might think that they're seeing enough from you, as if you're hiding behind that 29 since they probably don't get too many ACT only students. If I get it to 31(only need to improve science, can't be too hard), then I won't consider my SAT score.

Did the person say anything else about why only to submit ACT?

The asnwer is: send them all! Most colleges will ask you for all your scores, and if they find out you didn't send them they get pretty testy. At the same time, you really aren't ever at a disadvantage with scores - everyone will use the highest they possibly can. I did a post on this a while back on my blog: Those dreaded Admission TESTS!
