I'm a high school senior that is going to apply to UC Berkeley in November. I just took the SAT Subject Test (Math 2, Chemistry, and Spanish) two days ago. I think I did reasonably well on the Math and Chem, but I totally bombed the Spanish test. Honestly, I did not prepare at all.

UC Berkeley says that we have to report all of our scores, but it also says that subject tests are optional. My question is: Will I be able to submit only the Math and Chem to UC Berkeley using Score Choice?

Thanks.

I got my scores.

Math Level 2 = 720
Chemistry = 760
Spanish = 450

Like I said, my Spanish score is terrible. If I send all three scores, will it hurt my chances? Is there a way that I can ask them to only consider my top two scores?

Since it’s optional, you should be able to use score choice. However, lets wait for some CC vets to confirm!

The thing is this optional SAT II thing is new (second year), so I’d say you would be fine with score choice (benefit of the doubt or something haha). Not sure if anyone here would know about how the new policies work, so might be best to just ask them.
