I was planning to apply to Stanford University. They require that all scores of ACT and SATs be sent to them. So, I took the ACT 4 times, and ended with a 35. Will Stanford KNOW if I only send them the 35 (or maybe one of the other ones, to show improvement)? Also, if I send my SAT Subject Test scores and DONT send the SAT Reasoning test, will they know? Because my ACT is better than my SAT. Please help me out! Thanks in advance.

Do you really want to take that chance? Stanford requires all scores. Send all scores.

Not really, which is why I am asking.

From the Stanford website (<a href=“Standardized Testing : Stanford University):”>Standardized Testing : Stanford University):

As for the rest, it doesn’t matter. They require you to send in everything if you apply, so you’re gonna send it everything.

Don’t be dishonest in the admissions process. It’s not worth the risk and it shows a lack of character.

Aside from that, when I visited Cornell, they said that they require all scores, and that when students try to only send the best score, they tell collegeboard to just send them all anyway

So yeah…don’t do it

I’m going to be that guy and say that this consideration of deception and action against Stanford’s policy seems to characterize you as a candidate unfit for the university anyway.

Okay, thanks all!

For Stanford, you may send in your best ACT score and self report all other ones if for a financial reason. Look up their website for details. For SAT, you pay the same for all SAT scores so you have noo excuse, however, you are still allowed to do score choice for SAT2.
