Hi everyone, quick question? Do we need to send our AP scores to Harvard to verify that we'd taken them as we apply? And do we need to do so if we are accepted upon enrolling, if we don't plan on using them to gain credit?

Thank you!

Don’t send them until you have been accepted and intend to matriculate. If you don’t want to use the scores for any purpose at Harvard, however, there’s no reason to ever send them.

i already sent them because i wanted them to see all the good scores i got. does that help my app or does harvard not care?

Getting a lot of good AP scores will help your application, but officially send them won’t help; self-reporting is sufficient for admissions purposes.

Then couldn’t someone just lie and say they got alot of 5s?

It wouldn’t be worth the risk as they would be denied admission/expelled if they were found out which would not be too difficult.

darn, i wasted so much money sending ap scores to all the colleges i’m applying to @$%@&$%@$@$!!!
