Hey, my sat a 2150 and my act is a 32, and oddly enough I did well in opposite areas on each one (in other words, I did really well in math and sciences in ACT and really well in Verbal and Writing on SAT), and I was wondering why I can't just send both?....And if I can send both will they put a priority on one or look at them both equally?

Your 32 ACT converts to a 710/710 SAT, which is almost exactly what your 2150 averages . So, first, congratulations, and second, do send both. They will use the higher (SAT by a little), but see consistency and talent in all areas. When determining your Academic Index, the top schools will normally take the highest scores.

Thank you Fauve, you seem to know a lot, one last question for you, what is the ACademic Index?

send both. it won't hurt and it could help.
