Hi

I am an international student at a community college, and I am applying as a fall transfer. Do you think it is ok if I send my (officially stamped and translated) high school transcript myself to UIUC? It would be a lot easier than having my high school halfway around the world do the same thing...

Thank you

I doubt it, but call admissions and ask.

No, I don’t think that would be okay. Just contact your school and get the process started!

You need to get in touch with your school and have them send it. The university will only accept transcripts directly from your school. I did the same too about two weeks ago.

You can mail it in yourself. That’s what I did and everything worked out fine. Just make sure your school puts their official seal on the envelope.
