Okay so here are my scores:
Which should I send into colleges? Just the ACT or both? The admissions dean at Swarthmore said to just send in ACT, but I'm not sure. Wondering if colleges want to see both.

SAT: 720 math, 690 cr, 680 writing

SAT 11: Bio M:770, Chem 770, US History 730, Spanish 770

ACT: Reading 36, Math 35, English 34, Science 35
----35 Composite----

I think the admissions dean knows what he's talking about, considering he's the admissions dean, and I'm assuming you are applying to Swarthmore.

Are you sure you didn't start this thread as an excuse to show off how much better you did on the ACT than the SAT, and to gloat in your glory? ;) Not that gloating is a bad thing...just figuring you might as well admit that if that's the case.

Are you kidding? She obviously has a genuine question. OK SATs, great subject tests, great ACT. How about you don't post unless you have something worthwhile to say.

I'm not gloating at all. I just want to know if I should just send in my ACT or should I also send in my SAT so that colleges can see my SAT II scores.

okay so if you are applying to an ivy school send everything, it looks more impressive if you have taken both and have scored within range.

same goes for "normal" schools

i have almost the same problem as you.....but i went to a stanford seminar and the adm officer said they take your highest scores (either on SAT/ACT) and ignore everything else...so just send it

you should post your ?'s on college-specific threads..not here. i am sure people here are stressed out about their scores and it
can get frustrating when someone says i got a 35!! lol

Magerie, you posted on another thread that on your first try, you got 36 composite. But on here, you posted that it gets frustrating when someone says they got a 35. ???

If they want to see SAT II scores, they'll see SAT I scores too, but it doesn't matter. They'll only consider your highest score, which is a 35 on the ACT. So don't worry about it.

Wow frainy you really rocked the tests. I would just send in the ACT if that is all they asked for. You test scores should appear on your high school transcript anyway. So regardless of what you send in. They will see both. I personally only offically send my ACT becase it is much better than my sat.
