Send in ACT?

Hi everybody,

I am unsure whether I should send in my ACT scores and I'd like to get your opinion. My SAT scores are 1900, and I got about 650 in each of my three subject tests. I've send them all in. Now I'm just wondering whether I should send in my ACT scores as well. I know, they say they'll take the best, but I don't know whether I should trust this statement. Also, I have another problem with my ACT scores. I took the ACT with writing and got 26, and I took it again without writing and got 28. They say they want it with writing, but the one with writing is worse (even though on some sections it's much better.) So do you think I should send in the better one without writing (they still have the writing part from my SAT test), or should I send in the one with writing, or should I send in both (and hope that they take the best sections from each) or maybe none? Since sending in both costs twice as much money as sending in one and since I applied to a significant number of different places, I don't want to send in both if it does not have any effect on my application. Again, I know that they say they'll look at the best, but I'd like to get YOUR opinion what you think would be the best.

Hopefully you have some kind of hook b/c both your ACT and SAT are a little on the low end for the kids H accepts. You could always call the admissions office, I'm not sure of their exact policies or conversion charts. Considering you scored equally on the SAT sections sending that might be the better option, I'm not sure if sending your ACT scores would actually help you that much. By the way if you're a senior its pretty late to be sending in scores.

I know that it's pretty late but they say that they accept the ACT scores from February. I actually also always thought that my SAT scores would be low, but my interviewer told me to my surprise that she was impressed with my SAT scores and that they would be very good for an international student, so I don't worry about that.
