Send in revised essay?

<p>So I rushed my editing of my commonapp essay for the 1/1 deadline and turned that version in. Then I fixed it a bit more (added in a few phrases, changed a few words) for a 1/2 deadline and I think it flows a lot better now.</p>

<p>I have half a mind to email the admissions offices and send them my new essay.</p>

<p>What do you guys think? Would it work? Am I just being neurotic? Any advice would do.</p>

<p>Same thing for me - I just sent the wrong version of the CommonApp with my old essay to Middlebury, faxed them a letter explaining and the new version. Reassured them it was the same essay, same topic, but I just felt better about it.</p>

<p>No harm in sending it! Ask them to disregard the other one.</p>

<p>Um, unless you sent the WRONG essay (which OP didn't?), I would not send in revised one.</p>
