Send in test scores and transcripts now?

Are there any issues or problems with sending my ACT/SAT scores and official transcripts in now to the colleges I am applying to even if I may not send in the actual application for a couple of months? I'm just wondering what the colleges would do when they got it, if they would hold on to it and keep it organized or something.

how could you send your transcripts in now? (assuming you dont have your senior grades in yet)

^^ according to the website I'm supposed to send it through I can... I guess its official but incomplete probably

some schools send up to end of junior year, then fill in with midyear reports and stuff

okay so is there any reason i shouldn't send my scores?

Rosie51391-the schools create a file for you and as things come in they land in your file. So, yes, send them in but keep a check list of everything you send so you don't get confused.

There's no reason not to send your scores, or to worry if your teachers or GC sends in the transcripts or recommendations. Happens all the time. Colleges know what to do with this stuff.

I sent D's June ACT scores to a college she was seriously interested in attending. Last week she applied to that school and when she checked the status, they acknowledge receiving her scores and application (just waiting on the HS transcript).

Okay I'm glad to hear all this :) Thanks everyone!
