I have a 35 ACT and a 1450/2220 SAT. Should I only send my ACT to top colleges? I live in the Midwest, and some of the schools I'm applying to are East Coast.

It depends on what schools and their SAT/ACT policies. For example, MIT only considers the top scores of each section, no matter what the test (meaning they might look at the math score from the ACT but the writing score from the SAT, depending on what makes you look best).

If you aren’t sure, then just send your ACT score unless, one of your ACT sections is unusually low compared to one of your SAT sections. For example, I have similar scores to you but my guidance counselor suggested I might want to send in both scores because my ACT writing section was a 31 while my SAT writing was significantly higher at 750.
