Send paper transcript BEFORE submitting Common App???

Hey everyone,
I'm an international student and was wondering if i can mail hard copies of my secondary school reports and SAT scores to my chosen colleges BEFORE submitting the online common app? And i mean the colleges will recieve the mailed transcripts before they recieve the online application. Does that make a difference, or is it necessary to submit the online application first?

Also, i heard that you can get photocopies of your secondary school reports and get them attested by an Embassy, then they'll be official. Is that true, and is it the same for my official school letters, eg, teachers' reccomendations and application fee waivers?

Also, i am submitting my teachers' reccomendations online via common app. Will there be any need to mail a hard (attested) copy of this to my colleges too???

Thanks in advance for the help!

Yes, colleges documents and papers in all kinds of order.

I don’t know but is there a problem getting an official copy?

Common app is fine for teacher’s recs. I assume you mean your teachers will be submitting them online, not yourself?

No there isn’t but i can’t get 7 official copies, so i thought i might photocopy them and attest them to ‘make’ them official

Yes of course. I gave the teachers’ emails to the application and they signed in (i presume) to the teachers’ login section and filled it in.
