Send SAT scores?

I apologize for posting such a cookie cutter thread. Hopefully in the future I will feel qualified to post other things here.

My test scores are as follows
ACT #1 English 33 Maths 33 Reading 32 Science 35 Writing 8/12 33 composite

ACT #2 English 35 Maths 33 Reading 35 Science 32 Writing 11/12 and 34 composite

Sat #1 730 CR 790 Maths 620 Writing 8/12 essay
Sat #2 710 CR 740 Maths 750 Writing 11/12 essay

Subject Tests: Maths 1 790 Physics 800

Conventional wisdom tells me to send my 34 act and call it a day. I feel that conventional wisdom is incorrect in the sense that maths would be especially valued here, so I might find it better to submit my SATs instead. This is particularly important as a 33 maths is below the median for MIT. I have had significant other engineering-esque coursework and ECs, so...

Any input? You guys are all awesome for spending your valuable time here helping us kids out. Live long and prosper.

Keep in mind that MIT superscores the SAT but I don’t think they will superscore your ACT. So you’d have 730 CR 790 Math 750 Writing 2270 Composite, which I believe is better than a 34 ACT. I’d send just your SATs, plus it’ll be cheaper. :)

You can certainly send or not send whatever set of scores you want, but if you send them all, MIT will pick the best scores and use those in your evaluation – there’s no downside to sending all the scores except for the cost.

Okay, that will do nicely. Thank you!

Question though-- as ACT maths is of greater rigor than SAT maths, would they accept my SAT maths over ACT? Frankly, ACT maths was just too quick for me–I always need time to review my work lest I do incredibly stupid.
