Send SATs or just ACTs?

I'm definitely sending in my ACTs:
12/2010: 34 english, 32 math, 34 reading, 36 science = 34 composite + 10 on essay
6/2011: 36, 36, 36, 35 english = 36 composite + 10 on essay

I did pretty well on the SAT I, but not on a few SAT 2s...
12/2010: 790 reading, 720 math, 770 writing (10 on essay) = 2280 composite
6/2011: 800 reading, 760 math, 760 writing (10 on essay) = 2320 composite
superscore: 2330

5/2010: 750 world history, 680 math 1 (!)
5/2011: 800 US history, 780 chemistry, 680 math 2 (!) (this is the order I took them in, and I think I got tired haha)
10/2011: 800 math 2

I studied the night before for all these tests, so I'm not sure why I did wayy better in October for math... I want to be a science major (physics or chemistry), if that affects anything. I'm also a National Merit Semifinalist for California (223 on the 2010 PSAT), will probably be a Finalist (sent the form + essay in), and am putting that in my app too. So basically, should I sent in my SATs, even with the questionable subject tests, or just the ACTs?
Thanks :)

If money is not an issue, I’d say go with both.

D1 got bad advice from her HS and took the Math 1 fr year as well. She had about the same score as you, took the Math 2 later and did much better, she graduated from Y last spring. Since it was taken so early and you went on to take the Math 2, it should be fine. I don’t doubt the first Math 2 score was due to fatigue.

It’s a close call, because your highest SAT scores are plenty high–but your highest ACT is a 36. I would seriously consider just sending the ACT.

I also got a 36 on the ACT (lower writing score though :PP) and I’m only sending that. Granted, your SAT scores are significantly better than mine — I took the SAT without studying (oops. 2130.) and took the chem subject test sophomore year after chem honors (710, at least mom learned not to force brother to do these things ‘just to see how he does’). However, my logic applies to your situation in that I figured a 36 ACT looks pretty darn good and I wouldn’t want anything to look bad in comparison.
