Send SATs?

Yo,

So, my scores are the weakest part of my application, and, while they are “solid” overall (quoting my GC), there are some weak subsection scores that managed to sneak in. Trying to present myself in my best possible light! I am applying to a few major reaches (but plenty of safeties and targets as well). I am URM, top 10% of my class with 12 APs and 5 Dual-Enrollment classes, and am heavily involved in extracurriculars in my field of interest: education and dev psych (including research experience and club leadership).

ACT 1 (no writing): 34E, 29R, 27M, 23S (yes… 23), 28 Composite
ACT 2 (with writing): 30E, 29R, 26M, 25S (slightly better?), 27 Composite with essay of 9 and ELA score of 29
For schools that superscore, that would be a 29 composite.

SAT 1 (new): 670 Verbal or whatever it is called now and 650 math, Essay: 18 (all 6’s).
SAT 2 (new): 670 Verbal and 580 math, but with an Essay of 21 (all 7’s).

Because I did not take the writing on the second ACT, I must submit both ACT scores (plus, a 25 science looks more attractive than the 23 which is on the cusp of “college readiness”) as some schools require the writing. The equivalent ACT score to my SAT score is a 28, but the only real blight among my ACT scores is science, so I think that the ACT just looks better than my SAT scores. But my counselor was very impressed by my 21 SAT essay score, saying it was one of the top scores she had seen. I don’t know if I should include it in my reported scores, though, as it is attached to a poor math score.

Any thoughts?!

FWIW: I am applying to most of my in-state schools (and have so far been admitted to two of them), Wake Forest, Oxford at Emory, Tulane, BC, and for the super reaches: Vandy, Davidson, and a few other top LACs for which I have fee waivers (for applying to diversity fly-outs).

Bump. Here’s a shorter version of the above: is a 21 essay score on the new SAT high enough to warrant sending my SATs which are relatively lower than my ACTs? My ACT essay was a 9, so good, but not incredible or anything. (I did get a 28 essay when it used that scale, but I don’t want to send those scores as they are uniformly low besides).
