Send score to high school?

So, I took the April test

C 32

E 35
M 33
R 28
S 32
Essay 12

Initially, I did not have it sent to my high school (during registration) since it appears on the transcript.

However, I am also taking the June ACT with plans of getting a higher score. Should I just send this score to my school anyway, or should i wait until after I get my June scores?

Hey Paki

That is an AMAZING essay score! What are you shooting for on the ACT. IMO you should send that to your school just based on your essay and english score. It is not everyday that you get a 12 on the essay.

P.S. Did you get the essay about whether there should be educational programming for 20% of TV time? On the April ACT that was the lucky prompt that got me a 12 lol :-)

^ Yup, that was the essay prompt. Thanks for the advice.

Well, after asking many of the fellow CCers on here, I have been encouraged to retake it to improve my chances at ivy league and BS/MD programs. So, I am aiming for around a 34. I do not know if I just wasted my money, but hopefully I can reach that goal.

You certainly should try your to obtain your best score on the ACT. However, keep in mind that scores and grades are not everything. You seem to be on the right track though!
