Send scores to test optional schools?

So, i'm one of those "lopsided" SAT students. OK in reading/writing bad in math. Let's say I was at or above their 75% for reading/writing but below their 25% for math. I'll be an english major. would you submit the scores?

My GPA is in line, 6 AP classes, good recs, etc.

Some test optional schools use test scores for placement in math and english classes so check with admissions officer when applying.

most of them use them for placement, but that is after admissions.

You sound like my son. 750 reading. 590 math. His 1340 total put him at the midpoint for his test-optional school. Likewise, his ACT was midpoint. He submitted scores and got in.

Good luck.

scores are also used for merit scholarships, so best to send… they wont hurt you in any way!
