Send Them All?

When applying to schools, I have heard that they usually ask for all SAT and ACT scores you have.

Do you have to send all scores? I just took my first SAT a couple of weeks ago and take my first ACT this Saturday. I have not really prepared for either of these tests yet and know I did not/ will not get my highest score.

I thought I would use these scores as a starting point, and study and build from there. But I don't want to send in very poor scores to schools as well as my final scores!

Do you really have to send in all scores? And if so, does it negatively affect you if your first scores are low?

I plan on applying to schools such as Boston College, ND, University of Texas at Austin, Stanford, ect. I am a junior.

No, you don’t have to, low scores will devastate your app

That’s what I was afraid of, but I don’t need to send them all? I was told today by a teacher that when you send your score sheet, every score goes with it, not just your best.
