So I've been taking a couple classes at the community college nearby for a couple of years now.... this year, I had to take a music class to qualify for admission at the UCs (a-g requirement..), but I had to take the course online because I was out of town for a research internship.

Basically what it comes down to is that I got a B in a STUPID, "should have been an easy A" class (it's titled "The History of Music" ..something along those lines). I just want some advice on whether or not I should submit my transcript from the community college with my common app anymore because of that B. I know this probably sounds ridiculous, but I have this feeling that since I've only taken 3 classes at the CC, the fact that I got a B might indicate that I'm not ready for college-level courses or something... But not sending the transcript makes it seem as if I've been ridiculously lazy over summer.. fhdsgfhas

Don't hate please lol. I'm seriously confused. So yeah... any opinions? :)

heh. The other courses are like hip hop and stuff... it just shows the other side of me because I dance hip hop outside of school. The only academic course was the music class.. so yeah. That probably changes your opinion, huh? hahah

same problem is happening with me..i took a Philosophy course (along with some other classes) for a summer program for gifted students @ UT. i ended up getting a b, however, the class was REALLY REALLY difficult because it meant to challenge the best h/s kids in the state, not to get easy college credit. i'm going to submit it anyway because it shows that I challenged myself (even though the Dr./organizer of the program will explain the tough courseload ^_^)

if it were a math or science, i would tell you to submit...but i dont believe a B in "The History of Music" would hurt your changes if the rest of your app. is solid.

Unfortunately, I believe Stanford requires all transcripts from any postsecondary institution to be sent in
