<p>Would it be inadvisable to send in a letter that explains 2 of my extracurrics more in depth since on the common app it asks only for the hours that you put in?</p>
<p>I realize I could hav put this under additional info on the common app but I've already sent it in.</p>
<p>I dont think it would hurt to send in a letter if you feel that it would add to your application. Dont be afraid to slightly break the rules. The worst that can happen is they simply wont look at the letter, but its worth a shot if you think it will bring across a side of you that you are unable to explain in the application. I sent in several supplementary items when I applied.</p>
