<p>Hi, I'm applying to Emory and I was hoping to send a recorded CD of my piano playing along with my application. If I'm not looking to major in music, but still want to continue my study in music, should I send this CD only to the admissions office or also send a copy to the music department just to be safe?</p>

Also I think it will really stand you out regardless of what you want to do!
They just want a lot of bright students with full of potential and if you send that in I think it shows it!</p>

<p>definitely send it in. i’m a double major with music, but i didn’t decide to be until my sophomore year. even if it’s not crazy good, as long as it’s decent it will only help your application. go for it!</p>
