Sending ACT Scores to Multiple CSUs

I just sent my ACT scores to SJSU. When I log into CSU Mentor to send to the other CSUs I’m applying to, I don’t see SJSU listed anywhere, it just shows my two ACT test dates with check boxes next to them. Is this normal? Or should I see SJSU somewhere?
Also, when I send the scores to the other CSUs I’m applying to, in the dropdown list of campuses, should I click on SJSU again, just to be sure? or will that just confuse them if they get two records from me?

This service is free, correct? What harm is there in re-sending to SJSU just to be sure? I think at worst they’d just discard the extra set of scores.

@Mamelot no it costs $12 per ACT report per school

I could be wrong about this - D2 sent SAT scores not ACT so it’s a bit different - but didn’t you need to send to SJSU to begin with in order to get them to show up on CSUMentor? Here’s what the directions say:

"If you have listed a CSU campus as an ACT score report recipient, you can use the ACT Scores Manager to release your score to additional campuses. Before you can use the ACT Scores Manager, you must first have arranged for your scores to be sent to a CSU campus.

If you have not yet arranged for your ACT scores to be sent to a CSU campus, you can learn how to request this at www.actstudent.org/scores/send/index.html."

Isn’t it free to use the ACT Scores Manager on CSUMentor? The way I’m reading this SJSU must have your scores or they wouldn’t have shown up on CSUMentor. You can then use the Scores Manager to send to other schools - and that’s free to do so, correct? Why can’t you just click on SJSU while you are at it?

Oh yes, to other CSU’s it’s free once you have sent it to one CSU

OK @chubii thanks for confirming that. I realize I wasn’t clear above when I said “service is free” because it sounds like I meant ACT rather than CSUMentor. BTW, SAT is a bit more straightforward in that you send to CSUMentor itself (it has it’s own code). The schools can then download from that. It’s the equivalent process really but makes more sense explained this way.

@Mamelot no I also didn’t fully read OP’s post about only sending to CSU’s haha… that was my bad…
and I agree with everything else you said!
