I finished filling out my CSU & UC application last week, filled out the respective ACT columns.
As I went to the final page, it stated “ACT Scores Not Sent.”
Later I did some research I figured out that once you’ve finished with the test, you can send it right away fess up twelve bucks for the scores to be sent to your school and then after some wait time, your ACT scores will prop up on your application.
Problem: Deadline is in three days.
Few inquiries:
How can the scores be processed quicker?
How will they receive ACT scores after the deadline?
When do CSU’s & UC’s begin reviewing applications?
@sdao024 - I think ACT has done away with the rush option because all their score sends are electronic data dumps. At this point - all you can do is pay the $12 to send it and hope it reaches on time. I am sure it will, or the colleges will accept if it arrives late due to no fault of yours. YMMV.
Important Notice:
Requests for sending scores submitted after 12 noon (Central Time), Wednesday, November 23, through Sunday, November 27, will not be processed until Monday, November 28. If you have an upcoming deadline, you may want to contact your college or scholarship agency to make arrangements due to the additional processing time. Thank you.
Does this indicate that my report will be ready by tomorrow?
@sdao024 - I don’t work for ACT, but my assumption from what you have posted above is that they will start processing a BUNCH of requests tomorrow after a LONG weekend… Expect delays.
I’m well aware of that.
However, I’m more focused on the CSU’s. If you have clicked “Submit application,” you will see the ACT scores aren’t present.
I just need to know even if I submit the application, the CSU’s will still (eventually) receive the scores or if it won’t be part of the the application.
