If a college says that you are only required to send one ACT test but you want to send more that one, is that possible and/or beneficial?
Many colleges practice what’s called “super scoring”. Where the sub-sections’ highest scores are considered – even if the composite remains the same. Thus, supplying multiple sitting scores is a benefit. However, the rule of thumb is – don’t take more than 3 times (unless once was before HS) as you don’t want to appear to be a test taking robot
@T26E4 thanks for the advice. What about sending multiple ACT scores to schools that do not super score ACT? Will they still look at both tests?
They’ll look at both and take the higher.
