Sending Act Scores

I’m not sure how to get my ACT scores to the school. I took the ACT on Oct. 24 and when I registered I requested the scores to be sent to the school (0188 CALIFORNIA POLYTECHNIC ST U-SAN LUIS OB, SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA, US) but after filling out the app on csu mentor the last page said that I hadn’t sent the scores. I filled out the test info stuff under the High School Information in the app. Now, I’m not sure whether I had to send the scores to CSU Mentor, or if it’s okay that I just sent them to the school directly. What about UCs?

Also when the app asks for the ACT score does it mean just writing or combined english/writing?

ACT score can NOT be sent to CSUMentor directly. After CPSLO received your score, it still takes somes times (about 4 weeks) for your ACT score to appeared in CSU’s main data base. You can use ACT Score Manager (the 5th link on the mentor webpage) to verify your score is in the data base and release your score to other CSU campus. (You only need to send to one campus, but remember to release them to other campus you apply)

UC is different, you have to send to each campus.

I applied to SLO Oct 1st early decision. I sent my ACT score that day as well. Two weeks ago, I check CSU mentor act score manager and SLO is still not on there. So I give a call to SLO admissions and they said they received my score weeks before that phone call.

ACT score manager wouldn’t state SLO received your score despite the fact that SLO already had your score. You’ll only see a box states that CSU mentor has a match after your score directed to CSU main database, then you can release it. Since you sent to SLO directly, SLO would normally have your score within one week after score is ordered.

After release and after the campus downloaded, you’ll see message of the date the campus downloaded your score. DD released back to SLO, just for our own record.

EDIT: Forget the main point -
CSU mentor hasn’t received your score does not necessary means that SLO not received your score. There’s a lagging time there. Do KorenBoi did, check with SLO directly.

What if I ordered my scores before I took the test? On the ACT website it says date processed: Oct 08 but I didn’t take the test until later in Oct. I wonder if they got my scores? Maybe I should call too…

They probably did.

Yeah I didn’t want to bother them since they probably got 235929 other calls about the same thing…

I took the October 24 test, so they probably have my scores by now. I’ll check the csumentor site again. I need to send these scores to csu fresno, but i dont know when they need my scores by.

Oh and do UCs require act plus writing AND two sat subject tests? or just act plus writing? because i took the act, sat reasoning, and 3 subject tests

UCs require two subject tests on top of either the SAT I and ACT+writing (or both).

I’m not sure which SAT Subject Test Scores to send in to UCs.

Math Lvl 2: 670
Spanish : 740
US History: 560

Or should I just send all three? Do they just take the higher two scores?

What I have found out is that you have to send your ACT scores to one college and then you can access it from the CSU Mentor website. Then you can send it to the rest of the state schools. However, my question is how long does it take for the one school to process it, so you can access it? The deadline for all of these schools is Friday…! Help!
